Spring is in the air! And we are celebrating the colors of the season with a visit to the Japanse Tuin in Wassenaar, Den Haag.
It has been four months now that we moved from our cosy, settled life in Vienna, Austria to Den Haag. So everything still feels a little new when we go outside of our neighborhood to explore the city and its surroundings.
Just like last week when I took the kids to visit the colorful and picture postcard like Japanse Tuin (Japanese Garden) at the landgoed Clingendael. My children usually need the entertainment of merry-go-rounds, monkey bars or a big sand box. But this time eevn I was amazed when they walked in awe the winding paths through blooming bushes, giant trees, ponds and fields of moss. It must have been the feng shui doing its magic trick and mesmerizing them.
Well, I couldn’t help but feel all peaceful and content either. We sure shall be back for a round of meditation and tea …
